On the 14th of June 1981, when I was 17 years old, I made my first two skydives at a small dropzone in the Netherlands (Paraclub Icarus, Hilversum airport). From that moment in time, skydiving is one of my biggest passions in my live. For me skydiving is total freedom and gives me lots of positive energy. I have skydived above many astonishing beautiful exotic places in these 26 countries (see link) around the globe. Amongst others: Palau, New Zealand, Uruguay, Australia, Seychelles, Dubai, Brazil, Ecuador, Namibia, Thailand, Dominican Republic, the Philippines, Costa Rica, Maldives, Madagascar and Belize. I have jumped from many different Aircrafts like a Cessna 172, DC-3, Twin Otters and Hercules transporters. Also from small Helicopters (Bell jet Ranger) up to the largest helicopter (Russian MI 26) in the World and from several hot air Balloons and paramotors.
I have been part of several 4, 8 and 16way formation skydive teams and participated in several National, European and World Championships. Next to that I have been part of multiple National and Guinness World Skydiving records, like multiple 100way and 300way formation skydives. Please enjoy the videos, pictures and stories you will find on this page. I am sure you will understand why skydiving became one of my biggest passions. Next to Hang Gliding and Mosquito Hang Gliding.
Some statistics as per 23 April 2025: I have made 2546 skydives in 26 different countries at 6 continents. My highest skydive (13 December 1999) above Ubon, Thailand (with 306 skydivers in freefall) at 23.000 feet (7010 meters). The most skydives in just one day is 61 (14 June 2023 for colon cancer research, see my blog here) At my age (at that moment I was 60 years old) I am only the second person in the World who made these amount of skydives in a single day. Please see an impressive video documentary here.
