Due to a typhoon we were not able to land at the airport of Guangzhou. The pilot decided to fly out to this airport (distance Amsterdam / Paris). We landed safely in the middle of the night and after 3 hours (around 3.00 hours AM) waiting at the runway we eventually flew to Guangzhou. This was quite a trip with only (200 plus?) Chinese passengers on board without any forma communication in English. Via a translator from my project (see my blog here about my project) by phone I was able to get some information what was happening. Life is a journey! :-)
